Features built for social connection.

Yes. Hobbimate is free to get started on iOS and Android. Download the app, choose your hobbies and start browsing hobbimates near you in a few minutes.

Hobbimate is for adults across Australia who want someone to share a hobby with. Maybe you've moved to a new city, your usual tennis partner has moved on, or you've always wanted to try padel but didn't know anyone who played. Hobbimate helps you find people nearby who want the same thing.

You set your hobbies, suburb, skill level and availability. Hobbimate then shows you people nearby who match. A beginner looking for a relaxed hit won't be paired with someone training for competition, and you only see people who can actually meet up when you can.

Your profile shows your hobbies, your level and how you like to play. With Showcase, you can also upload short video highlights so potential hobbimates get a feel for your style before you say hello.

Once you've connected, chat in the app, share your availability and agree on a time and place. Then show up and play. Plenty of first hangouts turn into regular sessions.

Clubs and groups are great, but they can be hard to break into on your own. Hobbimate starts with people instead of events, so you can find one or two like-minded locals first and build from there.

Hobbimate is available across Australia, with active communities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra. New hobbies are added regularly.

Hobbihood is our upcoming feature that brings local people, places and plans together in one place. You'll be able to discover hobbimates, explore nearby places to play and book your favourite venue. Join the list below to get first look.
